I moved to Canada in 2015 as a permanent resident, long before I imagined advising anyone else on how to do the same. Earlier in my career, I worked for organizations including Disney, Michelin, Nordstrom, and Microsoft. I later became licensed as a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant.
In 2026, personal circumstances brought me back to Mexico. I chose to stay, and to build my practice from León, serving clients remotely, wherever they're based.
There's an irony here I don't take lightly: I now help people find their way into Canada, while I chose, deliberately, to build my life outside it. Canada is still part of who I am. I hold citizenship, I visit often, and Vancouver holds a particular place in my story — it's where I founded and incorporated my first practice, Canadian Soul Immigration Services Inc.
I understand the life of an immigrant firsthand, and I won't romanticize it. I know the sacrifices, and I know what living abroad actually costs. Immigration takes time, patience, and a real strategy. Applying to Canada is like knocking on a door: knocking doesn't mean it opens. Canada decides who comes in, not just who knocks. Sometimes the most honest thing I can tell someone is that the door isn't opening for them — and that's not a failure. It's just not a yes.
That's exactly why I work the way I do: real strategy, the truth delivered with empathy, and decisions made with full information — never assumptions.
